Presidents' Letter

Generations of LSU students began their futures “where stately oaks and broad magnolias shade inspiring halls.” Those who pass through LSU’s gates and step onto its beautiful campus experience memories that last a lifetime and add to the University’s rich legacy.

Launched in 2002, the National Flagship Agenda was designed to propel LSU to a new level of excellence. While the goals of the flagship agenda are decidedly ambitious, the progress is evident in the caliber of the current students, the accomplishments of the faculty and staff, and in the whole of campus life. Forever LSU: The Campaign for Louisiana State University will allow the University to continue to advance toward reaching the goals as set forth in the National Flagship Agenda.

The Forever LSU Campaign unites the efforts of the LSU Foundation, the LSU Alumni Association, and the Tiger Athletic Foundation to position LSU to compete on all levels with the finest public universities in the country. Through our mutual beliefs in the bright future of the University and through the aspirations of the campus leadership, students, faculty and staff, we are committed to assisting LSU in obtaining the resources needed to reach new academic and athletic heights.

We urge our alumni and supporters to join us in our efforts with the Forever LSU Campaign. Together, we can and will create a better tomorrow for the University, the State of Louisiana, the nation, and the world. Partner with us as we build dreams, foster the entrepreneurial spirit, and contribute to the rich legacy that is Forever LSU.
