Campus Infrastructure

The campaign will support a number of important new equipment and technology acquisitions, as well as construction of new laboratory and research space and other vital infrastructure improvements. All of this will ensure that LSU’s campus is poised and ready to serve the students of tomorrow. There are new building needs on the horizon, such as a new home for the E. J. Ourso College of Business and a new building for Chemical Engineering. Other facilities are undergoing renovations, such as the LSU Union and the Shaver Theatre in the Music & Dramatic Arts Building.

Without a doubt, LSU has one of the most beautiful campuses in the United States. It is a botanical joy that illustrates the heights of both natural and human design. Maintaining aging buildings and preserving and enhancing the lush campus landscape comes at a cost. There are numerous renovation and refurbishing opportunities throughout the 2,000-acre campus. Help us to preserve a campus that achieves the rarest of accomplishments for any setting—the ability to inspire, renew, and grow the very spirit of our community.
