LSU AgCenter
The research and educational programs of the LSU AgCenter are part of the assets that contribute to making Louisiana a better place to live, work, and prosper. Faculty in the LSU AgCenter and its two major branches—the Louisiana Agricultural Experiment Station and the Louisiana Cooperative Extension Service—are committed to making a difference for the people of Louisiana.
Funds generated from this campaign will help advance the teaching, research, and service by assisting the LSU AgCenter as it strives to:
- Strengthen the productivity and profitability of Louisiana farms and agribusinesses and enhance overall economic development in the state;
- Preserve and protect natural resources and the environment;
- Build leaders and good citizens through 4-H youth development and a variety of programs for adults;
- Support families and communities;
- Improve lives by implementing nutrition, diet, food safety, and health programs.
