Founded in 1935, LSU Press has established itself as one of the nation’s outstanding scholarly presses and Louisiana’s only academic publisher. Approaching its 75th anniversary, the Press continues to garner national and international accolades, including four Pulitzer Prizes, and remains committed to publishing the best books to inform, educate, and enlighten readers.

Funds generated from this campaign will help to advance the National Flagship Agenda by assisting the LSU Press as it strives to:

• Attract and promote outstanding authors and books,
• Maintain a global publishing perspective with a focus on the South,
• Contribute to LSU’s quest for academic prominence through scholarly inquiry, and
• Promote the achievements of our state and region.
