The School of Library & Information Science (SLIS) at LSU is a professional school offering only graduate degrees, including Louisiana’s only accredited Master of Library & Information Science degree program.
Funds generated from this campaign will help to advance the National Flagship Agenda by assisting School of Library & Information Science as it strives to:
- Recruit and retain a diverse student body of the highest quality;
- Alleviate financial hardship by offering more fellowships and graduate assistantships to students;
- Reward and encourage faculty research with more endowed professorships and chairs;
- Enrich the learning experience by providing the latest technology, ample on- and off-campus resources, and opportunities for off-campus learning.
