As one of only 28 veterinary schools in the country, the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine is committed to providing superior education in veterinary medicine and related fields; to offering a wide range of superior services to the general public and the veterinary medical community; and to maintaining a relevant, high-quality research program in basic and applied fields.
Funds generated from this campaign will help to advance the National Flagship Agenda by assisting the School of Veterinary Medicine as it strives to:
- Recruit and retain a diverse student body of the highest quality;
- Reward and encourage faculty research with more endowed professorships and chairs;
- Enrich the teaching experience as well as its service to the community, by providing the latest technology and state-of-the-art resources;
- Serve Louisiana by providing valuable research and resources to professionals and citizens.
